Brainware Sponsors Classroom at Haute Ecole Arc (HE-Arc)

Brainware, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions, announced today that it is sponsoring a classroom at Haute Ecole Arc (HE-Arc), and is working with the school to develop a course of study whereby Brainware would sponsor the talent that will innovate and serve the IT needs of global industry for years to come. Supplementing Brainware's sponsorship of Les Concerts du Millenaire and decision to expand personnel at the company's EMEA headquarters, this partnership reflects the company's ongoing support of the Neuchatel community.

"This institution believes that acquiring knowledge is essential for our world-class students; however, efficient use and sharing of knowledge to innovate in scientific and business fields is more important," said Olivier Kubli, Director of HE-Arc. "In addition to being a groundbreaking software developer worthy of serving many of the world's largest and most complex businesses, Brainware also understands how businesses operate, and how they stand to profit from such innovation. We believe this partnership represents a unique opportunity to instill those insights in our students."

"One of Neuchatel's greatest attributes is the wealth of talent that congregates here, and Brainware saw a natural ally in HE-Arc, an institution committed to the study of engineering, intelligence technology, business administration, business information systems and other programs that dovetail with Brainware's mission of providing cutting-edge technology that supports the automation needs of Global 2000 clientele," said Omprakash Yadav, Brainware's Director of Operations-EMEA. "Brainware is proud to contribute to this community, and to leverage its technological thought leadership today towards nurturing the technological thought leaders of tomorrow."

"Employers seek employees who understand both business and technology issues, and bring the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to their organization's performance," said Abdelmalek Berkani, Professor at HE-Arc. "In the business information management area, we focus our teaching plans and applied research projects on information systems, ERP, databases, programming, integration and business processes."

Haute Ecole Arc is a teaching and an applied research and development establishment that combines the graduate teaching strengths of the cantons of Neuchatel, Jura and the French-speaking part of the canton of Berne.
